Description

This gluten-free gravy is savory, delicious, and versatile. It pairs perfectly with holiday dishes and Sunday dinners alike. You can put this stuff on just about anything! Roast beef, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, you name it 🤤


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chicken soup base
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water together to make a slurry, and set aside. 
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Once the butter is melted, add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, chicken base, and a pinch of pepper to the saucepan and whisk together so that all ingredients are dissolved. 
  4. Allow the gravy to simmer for about 5 minutes. 
  5. After 5 minutes, whisk in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the gravy and continue to simmer for 10 more minutes.  
  6. Add salt to taste.
